As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and overseeing our various programs and initiatives aimed at promoting civic engagement and critical thinking among our students. - Develop and implement innovative programs and initiatives to promote civic engagement and critical thinking among students.
- Oversee all aspects of program planning, including budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners to create meaningful and impactful programming.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between the Center for Civic Thought and other departments, organizations, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events related to the programs.
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers.
- Communicate program updates, achievements, and challenges to the Executive Director and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with funders and assist in grant writing and reporting.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in civic engagement and critical thinking to continuously improve program offerings.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
- Represent the Center for Civic Thought at university and community events and conferences.
- Maintain accurate program records and prepare reports as needed.
- Uphold the mission and values of the Center for Civic Thought and Yale University in all program activities.
Master's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Political Science, Public Policy, Or Civic Engagement.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Program Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Civic Engagement And Social Justice Issues.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Groups Of Stakeholders.
Demonstrated Project Management Skills, Including Budgeting, Planning, And Evaluation.
