- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the values and goals of Yale University.
- Advise and support department managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for resolution of employee grievances and concerns.
- Coordinate and facilitate trainings and workshops on topics such as diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and talented workforce.
- Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, and proactively identify and address potential areas of risk.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and data, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on the performance evaluation process.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive work culture at Yale University.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR to continuously improve and enhance HR processes and procedures.
- Serve as an ambassador for Yale University, representing the institution in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Human Resources Role, Preferably In A University Or Higher Education Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Populations.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Priorities Simultaneously.
