Director, Strategic Analysis

Yale University is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Director of Strategic Analysis to join its strategic management team. The ideal candidate for this critical role will be a strategic thinker, analytical problem solver, and team leader with demonstrable success in developing and implementing business plans and strategies that have achieved both short and long-term organizational objectives.The Director of Strategic Analysis will work closely with the university's executive leadership team to identify and analyze opportunities for growth, develop and implement strategic initiatives, and ensure successful implementation of strategies across the university. As the leader responsible for strategic analysis, the individual in this role is expected to be a thought leader, driving the university's strategic direction and ensuring that organizational strategy is integrated into all areas of the university's operations. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a master's degree in a related field (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, or Economics) and a minimum of seven years of experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and/or strategy consulting. Additionally, the candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as a proven ability to think critically and strategically, collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders, and lead teams to success.
