Job Description

Yale University is seeking a motivated and collaborative leader to serve as the Director of Prospect Development. In this role, you will be part of the University’s Office of Development and Alumni Affairs, and will be critical to the success of Yale’s fundraising efforts. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of professionals in creating, implementing, and managing prospect development initiatives and strategies. You will work closely with fundraising professionals throughout the University to identify and research potential donors who will make major philanthropic investments in Yale.To be successful in this role, you must have a track record of success in prospect research, management, and development; a keen understanding of the philanthropic landscape; and a passion for creating meaningful relationships with individuals and organizations. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and develop innovative approaches to fundraising. You should possess a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and be dedicated to making meaningful contributions to the advancement of the University’s mission.
