- Coordinate and manage clinical research projects in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with study sponsors, investigators, and research participants.
- Conduct pre-screening and eligibility assessments for potential study participants.
- Recruit and enroll participants for clinical trials and maintain accurate records of study progress.
- Schedule and oversee study visits and procedures, ensuring adherence to protocol and safety measures.
- Collect and manage data, including entering data into databases and conducting quality checks.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory documents and study protocols.
- Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in all aspects of research.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of current research practices and regulations.
- Analyze data and assist with writing reports and publications.
- Support the development and implementation of new research projects and protocols.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced clinical research staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of all study participants and data.
- Represent Yale University and the research team in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Public Health, Or Clinical Research.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research Coordination, Preferably In An Academic Or Medical Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Guidelines For Human Subject Research, Including Irb Requirements.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team Of Researchers, Clinicians, And Study Participants.
