  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Yale University, aligning with the university's overall goals and vision.
  2. Create and curate engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  3. Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all social media channels.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media, and make recommendations for incorporating new platforms or features into the university's strategy.
  6. Manage the university's social media calendar and schedule posts in advance to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
  7. Engage with the university's online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Identify and cultivate relationships with social media influencers and partners to expand the university's reach and enhance brand awareness.
  9. Coordinate and execute social media campaigns and contests to increase engagement and foster a sense of community among students, faculty, and alumni.
  10. Train and mentor other team members on social media best practices and provide guidance on creating effective social media content.
  11. Ensure compliance with university branding and messaging guidelines across all social media platforms.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to integrate social media into broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  13. Regularly report on social media performance to university leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador for Yale University, representing the university's values and mission on social media.
  15. Continuously monitor and respond to any potential crisis or reputation management issues on social media.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Social Media Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Non-Profit Setting.

  • Proficiency In Various Social Media Platforms, Including But Not Limited To Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, And Linkedin.

  • Strong Understanding Of Social Media Analytics And Ability To Use Data To Inform Strategy And Decision-Making.
