Job Description

Yale University is looking for an experienced and passionate Archivist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of archival principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. They should be motivated to help Yale University preserve our institutional memory and create a vibrant and meaningful connection with our community.To be successful in this role, the Archivist must have a Master's degree in Library Science or related field, as well as at least three years of experience in a similar role. They must have strong knowledge of archival standards, procedures, and best practices, and be comfortable working with a variety of digital and physical archival materials. The Archivist should be an excellent problem solver who is able to think creatively and adjust to changing needs and priorities. This position also requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.If you have a passion for history and a desire to help Yale University preserve its institutional memory, then we want to hear from you!
