Job Description

Design Windows systems based on requirements from internal developers and external partners. Work with Operations team to implement systems designs Provide hands-on Windows system administration, patching, scripting and maintenance. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of application developers and operations engineers to understand complex product requirements and translate them into automated solutions. Collaborate with peers to support and improve architecture, systems, processes, standards and tools. Participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, and high availability in support of Infrastructure, Software and Platform as a Service offerings. Troubleshooting of complex systems involving compute, network, and storage components. Develop and maintain capacity plans for all systems. Ensure adherence to policies/standards.

Job Qualifications

8+ years administering Windows Server with enterprise level skills in Windows physical and virtual environments
5+ years’ experience supporting IIS and .NET applications with SQL Server backends
Experience supporting Windows Failover Clusters and SQL Always On availability groups
Proven experience with complex multi-site and global network design, multi-layered switch environment, firewalls, VPN, Load balancers
