- Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify potential security incidents.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate the impact and prevent future occurrences.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, including gathering and analyzing evidence, and documenting findings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively identify potential risks to the company.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and address potential security weaknesses.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to provide updates on security incidents and recommendations for improving cybersecurity measures.
- Develop and maintain incident response documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on cybersecurity best practices and incident response procedures.
- Participate in incident response exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of the company's response plans.
- Collaborate with external incident response teams, law enforcement, and other organizations as needed to address security incidents.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve the company's incident response processes and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a responsible and professional manner.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in cybersecurity and make recommendations for improving the company's security posture.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Incident Response Or A Related Field.
Proficiency In Various Operating Systems, Network Protocols, And Cybersecurity Tools.
Experience With Incident Response Frameworks Such As Nist, Sans, Or Iso 27001.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle And Prioritize Multiple Incidents Simultaneously.
