From developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts, you will be responsible for ensuring the most efficient and cost-effective procurement practices for our company.To excel in this role, you must have a strong background in procurement and sourcing operations, as well as a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. - Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to support the overall goals and objectives of the company.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of procurement for the entire portfolio of hotels, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, department heads, and hotel managers, to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and suppliers, to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Develop and maintain a vendor management program, including performance evaluations and contract compliance.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and aligned with company goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and professional development.
- Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on procurement activities, cost savings, and potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to procurement operations.
- Represent the company in external procurement-related meetings, conferences, and events.
- Work closely with the finance department to track and report on procurement expenses and savings.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, legal, and operations, to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Sourcing Operations And Corporate Procurement, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Sourcing And Procurement Strategies That Result In Cost Savings And Process Improvements.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Sourcing And Procurement Professionals.
Extensive Knowledge Of Global Sourcing And Procurement Practices, Including Supplier Management, Contract Negotiation, And Risk Management.
Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Executives.
