  1. Provide expert technical support to hotel associates and guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, utilizing a variety of tools and resources.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for junior technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  4. Proactively identify and implement solutions to improve desktop support processes and procedures.
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues and provide resolutions or escalate to appropriate teams as needed.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in order to continuously improve support services.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technology solutions and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  8. Train and mentor new team members, ensuring a high level of technical expertise within the team.
  9. Monitor and maintain hardware and software inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies for ongoing support needs.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all interactions are professional, efficient, and satisfactory for all parties involved.

  • Extensive Technical Knowledge: A Senior Technician, Desktop Support At Wyndham Hotel Group Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Desktop Hardware, Software, And Network Systems. They Should Also Be Familiar With Common Troubleshooting Techniques And Have Experience In Managing Complex Technical Issues.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Technical Support Team, This Role Requires Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Colleagues, Users, And Vendors. The Ability To Convey Complex Technical Information In A Clear And Concise Manner Is Essential.

  • Experience In Team Leadership: The Senior Technician, Desktop Support Will Be Responsible For Supervising And Mentoring More Junior Technicians. Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members, Is Highly Desirable.
