Housekeeping Supervisor

1. Oversee and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of hotel rooms.
2. Train and coach housekeeping staff on standard operating procedures, cleanliness standards, and customer service.
3. Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.
4. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with established standards.
5. Address guest complaints and concerns regarding housekeeping, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
6. Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and ensure proper usage and storage.
7. Create and maintain work schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
8. Monitor and track housekeeping expenses, and work within budget guidelines.
9. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a seamless and positive guest experience.
10. Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new housekeeping staff.
11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and recognition to housekeeping staff.
12. Develop and implement standard operating procedures and protocols for housekeeping operations.
13. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
14. Maintain a professional and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
15. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping and implement them in the hotel's operations.
