Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, while also leading and training a team of housekeeping staff. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  2. Train and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are performing their duties effectively.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back of house spaces.
  4. Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet established quality and cleanliness standards.
  5. Communicate effectively with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth coordination and resolution of any issues.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring timely reordering when necessary.
  7. Handle and resolve guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures related to housekeeping, including safety and security protocols.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  10. Collaborate with the general manager and other department heads to ensure a positive and seamless guest experience.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvement to enhance the guest experience.
  12. Serve as a positive and professional role model for the housekeeping team, fostering a culture of teamwork, excellence, and exceptional service.
  13. Adhere to all company and brand standards, including hygiene and safety regulations.
  14. Perform any other duties as assigned by the general manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role Within The Hospitality Industry, Preferably In A Housekeeping Department.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Housekeeping Staff.

  • Knowledge Of Cleaning And Sanitation Standards, As Well As Proper Handling Of Cleaning Equipment And Chemicals.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills To Ensure Efficient And Thorough Cleaning Of Guest Rooms And Public Areas.

  • Ability To Handle And Resolve Guest Complaints Or Issues Related To Housekeeping Services In A Professional And Timely Manner.
