  1. Set up and prepare event spaces with necessary equipment and technical systems according to event requirements.
  2. Coordinate with event planners to understand technical needs and ensure all equipment and systems are in place and functioning properly.
  3. Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during events and provide quick and effective solutions.
  4. Operate and maintain audio, visual, lighting, and other technical equipment during events.
  5. Conduct pre-event checks to ensure all equipment is in working condition and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless event production process.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
  8. Stay updated on new event technologies and equipment and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
  9. Maintain an organized inventory of all event equipment and supplies.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to event attendees and promptly address any technical concerns or requests.
  11. Assist in event set-up and breakdown as needed.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
  13. Uphold the company's brand image and standards by delivering exceptional event experiences.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Wyndham Hotel Group.
  15. Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay informed and up-to-date on event processes and procedures.

  • Technical Skills: Event Technicians Should Possess A Strong Technical Background And Be Proficient In Handling Various Audio, Visual, And Lighting Equipment. This Includes Familiarity With Sound Systems, Projectors, Microphones, And Other Event-Related Technology.

  • Organizational Skills: Event Technicians Must Be Highly Organized And Able To Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. They Should Be Able To Create And Follow Timelines, Coordinate With Other Team Members, And Troubleshoot Any Technical Issues That May Arise During An Event.

  • Flexibility: Given The Dynamic Nature Of Events, Event Technicians Must Be Adaptable And Able To Think On Their Feet. They Should Be Comfortable With Last-Minute Changes And Be Able To Adjust Their Plans Accordingly To Ensure A Successful Event.

  • Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For Event Technicians As They Often Work Closely With Event Planners, Clients, And Other Team Members. They Should Be Able To Clearly Convey Their Ideas And Instructions To Others And Be Responsive To Feedback.

  • Attention To Detail: Event Technicians Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Technical Aspects Of An Event Run Smoothly. This Includes Checking And Testing Equipment Before And During The Event, As Well As Monitoring Sound And Lighting Levels To Ensure High-Quality Production.
