As an Event Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by providing technical support and expertise.   1. Set up and install audio, visual, and lighting equipment for events according to technical specifications.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues during events to ensure seamless execution.
  3. Collaborate with event planners to understand event goals and provide technical recommendations.
  4. Create and maintain event timelines to ensure all technical aspects are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Maintain and organize equipment inventory and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  6. Coordinate with external vendors to source additional equipment or technical support as needed.
  7. Ensure all event spaces are set up and ready for use prior to the start of events.
  8. Conduct pre-event testing of equipment to ensure functionality and troubleshoot any issues.
  9. Provide technical support to presenters, performers, and other event participants.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in event production technology.
  11. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  13. Assist with event tear down and equipment storage after events.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service to guests and promptly address any technical concerns or issues.
  15. Continuously strive to improve event production processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Event Set-Up And Breakdown: A Qualified Event Technician At Wyndham Hotel Group Should Have Prior Experience In Setting Up And Breaking Down Event Spaces, Including Knowledge Of Audiovisual Equipment, Staging, And Lighting.

  • Technical Knowledge And Troubleshooting Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Technical Expertise And Be Able To Troubleshoot Any Technical Issues That May Arise During An Event. This Includes Knowledge Of Audiovisual Equipment, Lighting Systems, And Computer Software.
