As the Audio & Video Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all audio and video equipment throughout our properties. - Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all audio and video equipment in the hotel.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with audio and video equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of audio and video services throughout the hotel, ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience.
- Train and educate hotel staff on how to operate audio and video equipment, including troubleshooting common issues.
- Keep an up-to-date inventory of all audio and video equipment and ensure that all equipment is in proper working condition.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that audio and video services are integrated seamlessly into hotel events and activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in audio and video technology, and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
- Conduct regular maintenance and testing of audio and video equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Act as the main point of contact for any guest inquiries or complaints related to audio and video services, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with audio and video equipment.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Keep detailed records of all audio and video maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of audio and video equipment for large events and conferences.

Proficiency In Audio And Video Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Audio And Video Equipment Such As Microphones, Speakers, Projectors, And Recording Devices. They Should Also Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues And Operate Equipment Efficiently.
Experience In Event Production: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Event Production, Including Setting Up And Operating Audio And Video Equipment For Conferences, Meetings, And Other Events. This Includes Knowledge Of Lighting, Staging, And Audio Mixing.
Knowledge Of Av Software And Programs: The Technician Should Be Familiar With Common Audio And Video Software And Programs Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, And Pro Tools. They Should Also Have Experience With Live Streaming And Recording Technology.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Larger Events Team, The Technician Should Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills. They Should Be Able To Take Direction From Event Managers And Work Well With Other Technicians And Event Staff.
Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Ability: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Troubleshoot Technical Issues Quickly And Effectively. This Includes Being Able To Anticipate And Prevent Potential Problems Before They Arise.
