- Set up and maintain all audio and video equipment in the hotel, including but not limited to televisions, speakers, microphones, and projectors.
- Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality and address any issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with hotel staff to understand their audio and video needs for events and meetings, and assist in setting up and operating equipment accordingly.
- Manage and maintain inventory of all audio and video equipment, ensuring that all items are in working condition and properly stored.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest audio and video technology trends and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Provide training and support to hotel staff on how to operate audio and video equipment.
- Monitor and respond to guest requests and complaints related to audio and video equipment, providing prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and maintenance, to ensure a seamless integration of audio and video systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling and operating audio and video equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Continuously strive to improve the overall audio and video experience for guests, by seeking feedback and implementing new techniques and technologies.
Extensive Knowledge Of Audio And Video Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Audio And Video Equipment, Including Microphones, Speakers, Projectors, And Soundboards.
Technical Proficiency: The Audio & Video Technician Should Be Proficient In Troubleshooting Technical Issues And Have Experience With Setting Up And Operating Audio And Video Equipment For Events And Meetings.
Strong Communication Skills: As An Audio & Video Technician, The Candidate Will Work Closely With Event Planners And Other Hotel Staff Members. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential To Effectively Understand And Meet Their Audio And Video Needs.
