Wyndham Hotel Group is currently seeking an Audio & Video Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all audio and video equipment throughout our hotel. We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual with a strong understanding of audio and video technology.   1. Set up and maintain all audio and video equipment throughout the hotel.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with audio and video systems.
  3. Ensure the smooth operation of audio and video equipment during events, meetings, and conferences.
  4. Collaborate with event planners and hotel staff to understand their audio and video needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest audio and video technology trends and make recommendations for equipment upgrades.
  6. Conduct regular maintenance and testing of audio and video equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  7. Train and assist hotel staff in operating audio and video equipment.
  8. Maintain inventory and track equipment usage and availability.
  9. Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and purchases.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling audio and video equipment.
  11. Continuously monitor and improve audio and video system efficiency and functionality.
  12. Keep detailed records and reports of all audio and video equipment maintenance and repairs.
  13. Be available for on-call support in case of any urgent audio and video system issues.
  14. Collaborate with the IT department for any network and connectivity issues related to audio and video systems.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is stored properly.
  16. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  17. Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  18. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Audio And Video Equipment Installation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting

  • Proficiency In Operating And Programming Various Audio And Video Systems, Including Soundboards, Microphones, Projectors, And Screens

  • Knowledge Of Current Audio And Video Technology Trends And Industry Standards

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Hotel Guests And Staff
