ITIL Release Manager

- Develop and implement a comprehensive release management plan in accordance with ITIL principles and company policies.
- Coordinate with various IT teams to identify, prioritize and schedule IT releases based on business needs.
- Communicate release plans and schedules to stakeholders and ensure their understanding and buy-in.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies for all IT releases.
- Monitor and track the progress of IT releases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise during the release process.
- Collaborate with IT teams to continuously improve release management processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL framework and best practices in all release activities.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to release management processes and procedures.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to upper management on release progress and performance.
- Mentor and train team members on ITIL practices and release management processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in ITIL and release management.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure successful integration and delivery of their services.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to support multiple release projects simultaneously.
- Ensure all IT releases are delivered within budget and meet business objectives.
Itil Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Strong Understanding And Certification In Itil Practices, Specifically In Release Management. This Will Demonstrate Their Knowledge And Expertise In Implementing Itil Processes Within An Organization.
Project Management Experience: A Release Manager At Wipro Must Have Experience In Managing And Coordinating Complex It Projects, From Planning To Execution. This Includes Creating Project Plans, Managing Resources, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of Releases.
Technical Knowledge: A Strong Understanding Of It Infrastructure And Software Development Processes Is Essential For A Release Manager. The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Different Technologies And The Ability To Work Closely With Technical Teams To Ensure Successful Releases.
Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: As A Release Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Various Stakeholders, Including Clients, Project Teams, And Senior Management. Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Build Strong Relationships Are Crucial For This Role.
Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: A Successful Release Manager Must Be Able To Identify And Resolve Issues That May Arise During The Release Process.
