Technician (Pharmacy)

Our Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service and support to our pharmacists and patients.We are seeking a Technician with exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, knowledge of federal and state laws regarding pharmacy operations, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician at Willis-Knighton Health System:

• Provide exceptional customer service and support to pharmacists and patients
• Follow federal and state laws regarding pharmacy operations
• Ensure accuracy and organization in managing pharmacy inventory
• Maintain patient records and manage customer billing and payment processing
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Restock medications and supplies as needed
• Assist in the preparation of medications and compounds
• Assist in the packaging and delivery of medications to patients
• Maintain a working knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
• Participate in continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments
