Phlebotomist

The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and patient-focused approach to delivering excellent care. The successful applicant will draw blood from patients, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and provide exceptional customer service.The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of one year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting, a Phlebotomy Technician Certification, a strong customer service focus, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Having an attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations is also essential. Responsibilities:

1. Draw blood from patients in a safe and accurate manner.
2. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
3. Provide excellent customer service to patients throughout the process.
4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient data.
5. Maintain patient records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
6. Prepare and label specimens for testing.
7. Follow safety guidelines and safety policies.
8. Ensure the proper handling of specimens.
9. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
