This position requires a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and disease processes.The ideal candidate will be an organized professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This individual must also possess a strong knowledge of medical documentation processes and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The following requirements are necessary for this position: • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential• 5+ years of experience in clinical documentation improvement• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems• Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteIf you have the required qualifications and are eager to join our team, we look forward to hearing from you.
