As a Store Receiver, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of products into our store. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Receive and inspect all incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and quality of products.
- Accurately record all received products in inventory management system.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
- Collaborate with store management to maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize stock shortages.
- Perform regular inventory audits to identify and report any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with other store departments to ensure timely and efficient product distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving area.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and storing products.
- Train and supervise other receiving team members as needed.
- Assist with other store operations as needed, including stocking shelves and assisting customers.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to receiving processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and sanitation.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Strong Organizational Skills: Store Receivers At Whole Foods Market Must Be Highly Organized In Order To Efficiently Receive And Process Incoming Shipments Of Products And Ensure Accurate Inventory Management.
Attention To Detail: As The Primary Point Of Contact For Incoming Shipments, Store Receivers Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Products Are Accurately Received And Accounted For.
Physical Ability: This Job Requires Regularly Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes And Pallets, So Physical Strength And Endurance Are Important Qualifications For A Store Receiver At Whole Foods Market.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation: Store Receivers Must Be Familiar With Food Safety And Sanitation Standards To Properly Handle And Store Incoming Products And Maintain A Clean Receiving Area.
Communication Skills: Store Receivers Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Vendors, Store Team Members, And Management To Coordinate Deliveries, Resolve Any Issues, And Maintain A Smooth Receiving Process.
