- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality of products.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient and timely retrieval of products.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments.
- Accurately record and document all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of product transfers.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and store products as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with restocking and replenishing products on the sales floor as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any product-related inquiries or concerns.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and changes in inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor new team members on receiving and inventory processes.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by store management.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management: The Store Receiver Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Principles And Be Able To Accurately Track And Receive Incoming Shipments.
Attention To Detail: As A Store Receiver, It Is Important To Have A Keen Eye For Detail In Order To Properly Inspect And Verify Incoming Shipments, Ensuring That All Items Match The Purchase Order And Are In Good Condition.
Strong Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Communication With Vendors, Suppliers, And Other Store Team Members. The Store Receiver Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.
Physical Stamina: This Job May Involve Heavy Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Large And Heavy Boxes, So Physical Stamina And Strength Are Important Qualifications For A Store Receiver.
