- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of products, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize and stock received items in designated areas within the store.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track product movement.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding any shipment discrepancies or issues.
- Assist in the resolution of any inventory-related problems, such as shortages or overages.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely restocking of shelves and displays.
- Help maintain a clean and organized receiving area and backroom.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, when handling and storing products.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in identifying and correcting discrepancies.
- Assist with the ordering and replenishment of products as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and address any inquiries or concerns regarding inventory.
- Stay informed about current and upcoming product offerings, promotions, and company initiatives.
- Train and mentor new team members on receiving and inventory processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with store leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Demonstrate a commitment to healthy living and promote the company's mission and values.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management: Store Receivers Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Processes, Including Receiving, Stocking, And Tracking Inventory Levels. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Software And Systems.
Attention To Detail: Store Receivers Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Accurately Receive And Check Incoming Shipments For Accuracy And Quality. This Includes Carefully Checking Product Labels, Quantities, And Expiration Dates.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Physical Stamina To Lift And Move Heavy Boxes And Products, As Well As The Ability To Stand For Extended Periods Of Time. Store Receivers May Also Be Required To Operate Equipment Such As Forklifts Or Hand Trucks.
Communication Skills: Store Receivers Must Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Vendors, Store Managers, And Other Team Members. This Includes Written And Verbal Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Others.
Time Management Skills: Store Receivers Must Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Their Time Effectively To Ensure Timely And Accurate Receiving Of Products. This Includes The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once And Meet Deadlines In A Fast-Paced Environment.
