As a Store Receiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from our vendors to our shelves.   1. Receive and verify shipments from vendors according to purchase orders and packing lists.
  2. Inspect incoming products for quality and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate department.
  3. Record and update inventory levels in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored in the correct locations.
  5. Communicate with vendors and other team members to resolve any issues with shipments.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  7. Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate ordering of products.
  8. Assist with regular inventory counts and audits.
  9. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain the quality and integrity of products.
  10. Keep up-to-date on new products and their proper receiving procedures.
  11. Train and supervise other receiving team members as needed.
  12. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  14. Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any customer concerns or inquiries.
  15. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy in receiving.
