In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our exclusive brand development process, sourcing unique and innovative products while upholding our high standards for ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility. As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and play a crucial role in shaping our exclusive brand offerings.   1. Conduct research and identify potential suppliers for exclusive brand products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product concepts and specifications.
  3. Assist in the negotiation and acquisition of products from suppliers.
  4. Ensure all products meet Whole Foods Market's standards for sustainable and ethical sourcing.
  5. Conduct regular product quality checks and provide feedback to suppliers.
  6. Participate in the development of marketing and promotional strategies for exclusive brand products.
  7. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential new products and suppliers.
  8. Assist with the management of supplier relationships and contracts.
  9. Help maintain accurate records and documentation related to product development and sourcing.
  10. Contribute to the development and maintenance of product standards and guidelines.
  11. Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure effective product placement and promotion.
  12. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Whole Foods Market's values and mission, and actively promote them in all aspects of the job.
  13. Communicate effectively and professionally with internal teams and external suppliers.
  14. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and standards related to product sourcing and development.
  15. Provide support for other departments and projects as needed.
