Senior Product Compliance & Nutrition Analyst

Whole Foods Market is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Compliance & Nutrition Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Whole Foods Market family, you would be responsible for ensuring that the products we carry meet the highest standards for nutrition and quality. You would be responsible for reviewing product labels to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Whole Foods Market's own standards.We are looking for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You should have a strong understanding of nutritional labeling regulations, as well as a passion for promoting healthy eating and nutrition. This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders including suppliers, internal teams, and regulatory agencies.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field, a minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance and nutrition labeling, and a deep understanding of the nutrition industry. Responsibilities:

1. Review product labels to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Whole Foods Market's own standards.
2. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of nutritional labeling regulations.
3. Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and regulatory agencies to ensure product compliance.
4. Monitor food safety and quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with these as well.
5. Provide nutrition and ingredient advice and guidance to all stakeholders.
6. Manage the nutrition label review process, including the review and approval of all new product labels.
7. Develop and implement nutrition and label compliance training programs.
8. Maintain accurate records of all product labeling reviews.
9. Identify potential labeling errors and recommend corrective actions.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality.
