  1. Lead the prepared foods department in accordance with Whole Foods Market's mission and values.
  2. Develop and maintain a high-quality, innovative and sustainable prepared foods department.
  3. Train, mentor, and motivate team members to provide excellent customer service and uphold food safety and quality standards.
  4. Create and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  5. Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure a cohesive and seamless shopping experience for customers.
  6. Conduct regular inventory and ensure accurate pricing and proper stock levels.
  7. Monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and new products to continually improve and enhance the prepared foods department.
  9. Assist in the creation and execution of promotional and marketing initiatives for the department.
  10. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Manage and maintain equipment and supplies necessary for the prepared foods department.
  12. Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, cleanliness, and ethical practices.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where team members feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow and develop.
  14. Continuously monitor department performance and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement to store leadership.
  15. Attend and actively participate in store meetings and training sessions.

Job Qualifications
