Job Description

Whole Foods Market is currently seeking an Overnight Grocery Team Member to join our team! As a Stocker, Inventory, and Receiving specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store is fully stocked and ready for our customers each morning. We are looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. If this sounds like you, we would love to have you on our team!

  1. Stocking shelves and rotating products to ensure freshness and proper organization.
  2. Receiving and unpacking deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality.
  3. Maintaining inventory levels and notifying management of any discrepancies or shortages.
  4. Assisting with the ordering process to ensure adequate stock levels.
  5. Keeping the store clean and organized, including facing and restocking shelves.
  6. Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and directing customers to products.
  7. Following all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe shopping environment.
  8. Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  9. Communicating any equipment or maintenance issues to management.
  10. Adhering to company policies and procedures, including cash handling and food safety guidelines.
  11. Working efficiently and effectively to complete all tasks within allotted time frames.
  12. Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
  13. Being proactive in identifying and addressing any potential issues or challenges.
  14. Continuously learning about products, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
  15. Participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed and up-to-date on store operations.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Stocking And Inventory Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Stocking Shelves, Rotating Products, And Maintaining Inventory Levels In A Retail Or Grocery Store Setting.

  • Familiarity With Receiving Procedures: Knowledge Of Receiving Procedures, Including Checking In And Inspecting Incoming Shipments, Is Essential For This Role. Previous Experience In A Warehouse Or Receiving Environment Is Preferred.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Job Requires The Ability To Stand For Extended Periods And Lift Heavy Boxes And Packages, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Attention To Detail: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Crucial For Maintaining Inventory And Ensuring That Products Are Properly Stocked On Shelves. Candidates Should Have A Strong Eye For Detail And Be Able To Work Efficiently And Accurately.

  • Customer Service Skills: As A Member Of The Overnight Team, This Person May Occasionally Interact With Customers And Should Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills. This Includes Being Friendly, Approachable, And Able To Assist Customers With Any Questions Or Concerns They May Have.
