- Stocking and Merchandising: Responsible for restocking shelves and replenishing inventory throughout the store to ensure a fully stocked and visually appealing environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock levels to management. Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving any customer concerns in a timely and friendly manner.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks. Communicate any issues or needs to management in a timely manner.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about products and their placement in the store to assist customers with locating items and making purchasing decisions.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restrooms, break rooms, and backroom areas. Follow company sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Time Management: Adhere to assigned shift schedule and complete tasks within designated time frames to ensure store is ready for opening each morning.
- Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Physical Demands: This role requires frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling of heavy objects, as well as standing for extended periods of time.
- Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed to meet the needs of the store.
Previous Experience In Grocery Store Operations: A Qualified Overnight Grocery Team Member Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Grocery Store Environment, Preferably In A Similar Role. This Will Ensure That They Are Familiar With The Day-To-Day Operations And Processes Of A Grocery Store.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Member Of The Grocery Team, The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills To Interact With Customers In A Friendly And Helpful Manner. This Includes The Ability To Answer Questions, Provide Recommendations, And Address Any Concerns Promptly And Professionally.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: Working Overnight In A Grocery Store Can Be Physically Demanding, As It Involves Lifting Heavy Boxes, Stocking Shelves, And Standing For Long Periods. A Qualified Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Have The Stamina To Meet The Demands Of The Job.
