- Greet and welcome customers to Whole Foods Market, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products in the grocery department and be able to answer customer questions.
- Ensure the store is fully stocked with high-quality natural and organic products at all times.
- Receive and check in deliveries, accurately recording inventory and stocking shelves accordingly.
- Maintain an organized and clean grocery department, including rotating and removing expired products.
- Assist customers with finding products and offer suggestions and recommendations as needed.
- Provide exceptional floor service to customers, including carrying bags, retrieving carts, and assisting with loading and unloading groceries.
- Operate register and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth daily operations.
- Continuously seek to improve product knowledge and stay updated on new products and promotions.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, contributing to a positive team culture.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, representing the Whole Foods Market brand.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Grocery Team Leader or Store Manager.
Strong Knowledge Of Grocery Products: A Grocery Team Member At Whole Foods Market Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Types Of Grocery Products, Including Organic And Specialty Items.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Member Of The Floor Service Team, It Is Important To Have Exceptional Customer Service Skills To Assist Customers With Their Inquiries And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience.
Physical Stamina And Flexibility: This Position Involves A Lot Of Physical Work, Including Lifting And Stocking Heavy Items, Standing For Long Periods, And Moving Throughout The Store. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: Stockers And Inventory Team Members Are Responsible For Maintaining Accurate Inventory Levels And Ensuring Products Are Properly Displayed. This Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Avoid Errors And Ensure A Visually Appealing Store.
