In this role, you will be responsible for stocking shelves, managing inventory, and providing exceptional floor service to our customers.   1. Stocking and organizing product shelves according to company standards and guidelines
  2. Maintaining accurate inventory levels and promptly restocking products as needed
  3. Providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, locating items, and offering recommendations
  4. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, and keeping shelves and displays tidy
  5. Ensuring all products are properly labeled and priced
  6. Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries and checking for accuracy
  7. Rotating products to ensure freshness and removing expired or damaged items
  8. Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  9. Collaborating with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
  10. Continuously learning about new products and staying up-to-date on company promotions and policies
  11. Providing support to other departments as needed
  12. Following all company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance requirements
  13. Promoting a positive and friendly atmosphere for both customers and team members
  14. Participating in training programs and meetings as required
  15. Representing the company's values and mission to provide high-quality, natural, and organic products to customers.

  • Knowledge Of Grocery Products And Industry Trends: A Grocery Team Member Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Grocery Products, Including Their Origin, Nutritional Value, And Any Current Trends In The Industry. This Knowledge Will Enable Them To Effectively Stock And Maintain The Inventory Of The Store.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: Stocking Shelves And Inventory Can Be Physically Demanding, So A Grocery Team Member Should Possess The Strength And Stamina To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Such As Cases Of Products Or Boxes.

  • Attention To Detail And Organization Skills: A Grocery Team Member Should Have Excellent Attention To Detail And Be Highly Organized In Order To Keep Track Of Inventory Levels And Ensure That Products Are Properly Stocked And Rotated.

  • Customer Service Skills: As A Floor Service Team Member, It Is Essential To Have Strong Customer Service Skills. This Includes Being Friendly, Approachable, And Knowledgeable About The Products In The Store, As Well As Being Able To Assist Customers With Any Questions Or Concerns They May Have.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Whole Foods Market Is Known For Its Fast-Paced And High-Volume Environment. A Grocery Team Member Should Be Able To Work Efficiently Under Pressure And Maintain A Positive Attitude While Completing Tasks In A Timely Manner.
