  1. Develop and implement high-quality teacher education programs in collaboration with the Department of Education & Child Development.
  2. Supervise and evaluate student teachers and their performance in the classroom.
  3. Provide mentorship, support and guidance to student teachers in their professional growth and development.
  4. Stay updated on current research, trends, and best practices in the fields of education and child development.
  5. Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure alignment of curriculum and instructional practices with national and state standards.
  6. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for student teachers and their students.
  7. Conduct observations and provide feedback to student teachers to help them improve their teaching skills.
  8. Maintain accurate records of student teacher progress and provide timely and constructive feedback.
  9. Assist in the recruitment and selection of student teachers for the program.
  10. Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and external partners to ensure the success of the program.
  11. Participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  12. Act as a liaison between the college and partner schools to build and maintain strong relationships.
  13. Ensure compliance with all accreditation and state requirements for teacher education programs.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives within the department.
  15. Serve as a role model for professionalism, dedication, and passion for education and child development.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Education Or A Related Field, Preferably With A Focus On Early Childhood Education Or Child Development.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Supervisory Or Administrative Role Within A College Or University Setting, Specifically In The Department Of Education And Child Development.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Teaching And Learning In The Field Of Education And Child Development.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate And Build Relationships With Faculty, Staff, Students, And External Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team, Make Sound Decisions, And Handle Challenging Situations With Professionalism And Diplomacy.
