Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Wellness Training Coordinator at Western Washington University. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the well-being of our students and campus community by developing and coordinating wellness training programs.   1. Develop and coordinate wellness training programs for students and campus community.
  2. Conduct needs assessments to identify areas of improvement and create tailored programs.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and organizations to promote and implement wellness initiatives.
  4. Stay up-to-date on current wellness trends and research to ensure program effectiveness.
  5. Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions on various wellness topics.
  6. Recruit and train wellness program facilitators and volunteers.
  7. Maintain accurate records of program attendance, evaluations, and outcomes.
  8. Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to promote wellness programs and events.
  9. Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  10. Serve as a resource for students and staff seeking information and resources related to wellness.
  11. Assist in creating and managing program budgets.
  12. Collaborate with student groups and campus organizations to develop and implement wellness initiatives.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to enhance wellness program offerings.
  14. Serve as a role model for healthy behaviors and practices.
  15. Keep confidential and sensitive information regarding participants and programs.
  16. Attend and participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
  17. Support a diverse and inclusive campus community through culturally sensitive and inclusive programming.
  18. Uphold the values and mission of Western Washington University in all job responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Promotion, Kinesiology, Public Health, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Wellness Program Development And Implementation.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Current Wellness Trends, Evidence-Based Practices, And Health Behavior Change Theories.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Diverse Population.

  • Experience In Event Planning And Coordination, As Well As Budgeting And Evaluation Of Wellness Programs.
