Job Description

Western Washington University is looking for an experienced and compassionate Undocumented Student Retention Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our undocumented student population. We are looking for a mission-driven individual who is committed to helping our undocumented students succeed and thrive. The ideal candidate will have experience in higher education, a passion for advocating for undocumented student rights, and a strong commitment to ensuring an equitable and inclusive environment. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in relevant state and federal laws, knowledgeable in financial aid and scholarships for undocumented students, and must have experience in developing and running programs for undocumented student populations. Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be proficient in Spanish and/or other relevant languages.If you possess the qualifications and are passionate about advocating for undocumented student rights, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
