Job Description

The Western Washington University Career Services Center is looking for an experienced, motivated, and collaborative Director to provide leadership, direction, and support to our Career Services team. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing all career services activities, while creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for our students and alumni. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Student Development, or a related field and at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a career services or related field. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. You must also have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of campus partners and stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have a passion for and commitment to student success and the ability to deliver professional and comprehensive career services in a student-centered environment. We are looking for someone who is highly knowledgeable about current trends in the job market and the skills required for success in a wide range of career paths.The Director of Career Services will be a positive, collaborative, and innovative leader who is committed to helping students and alumni reach their career goals.
