- Develop and manage the cybersecurity budget, allocating resources and prioritizing initiatives to achieve maximum impact.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of the company's cybersecurity processes and systems to identify and address any vulnerabilities.
- Act as a spokesperson for Western Union's cybersecurity initiatives, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Technologies And Best Practices: A Vice President Of Cybersecurity Operations At Western Union Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Cybersecurity Protocols, Tools, And Techniques. This Includes Knowledge Of Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Encryption Methods, And Vulnerability Assessment Tools.
Proven Experience In Managing Complex Cybersecurity Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Cybersecurity Operations For A Large Organization. This Should Include Experience In Developing And Implementing Security Policies, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Managing Security Incidents.
