Job Description

Western Union is seeking a Vice President of Cybersecurity Operations to join our global team and drive the strategic direction of our cybersecurity operations. As the Vice President, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company's assets and ensuring the security of our customers' financial transactions.   1. Develop and implement a strategic plan for cybersecurity operations to effectively protect Western Union's critical data and systems.
  2. Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
  3. Oversee the daily operations of the cybersecurity team, including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat detection and mitigation.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that cybersecurity strategies align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to continuously improve the company's security posture.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, to effectively communicate cybersecurity risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cybersecurity.
  8. Develop and manage the cybersecurity budget, allocating resources and prioritizing initiatives to achieve maximum impact.
  9. Conduct regular assessments and audits of the company's cybersecurity processes and systems to identify and address any vulnerabilities.
  10. Act as a spokesperson for Western Union's cybersecurity initiatives, representing the company at industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Technologies And Best Practices: A Vice President Of Cybersecurity Operations At Western Union Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Cybersecurity Protocols, Tools, And Techniques. This Includes Knowledge Of Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Encryption Methods, And Vulnerability Assessment Tools.

The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing And Developing Teams, Setting Strategic Goals, And Creating A Positive And Collaborative Work Culture.
