Job Description

Are you an analytical and detail-oriented data science professional looking for a new challenge? Western Union is seeking a Manager, Data Science Insights and Analytics to join our team of experts. In this role, you will use your problem-solving skills to support the development of data-driven insights and analytics that will inform and shape our business and product strategy.To be successful in this position, you must have a passion for data science and analytics, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to think strategically and creatively. If you have experience in data analytics and insights, a strong understanding of data science tools and technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities for actionable insights.
  2. Develop data-driven insights and analytics to inform and shape Western Union’s business and product strategy.
  3. Utilize data science tools and technologies to optimize data exploration and analysis.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  5. Develop data models and reporting tools to track performance and uncover opportunities for improvement.
  6. Develop and implement best practices for data quality, data governance, and data security.
  7. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies related to data science and analytics.
  8. Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members.
  9. Present data-driven insights and analytics to senior leadership.
