
Leader, Information Security – Workforce Identity and Access Management

- Develop and implement strategies for Workforce Identity and Access Management to ensure the protection of sensitive data and secure access for global workforce.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems and tools to monitor and prevent unauthorized access to company systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish security policies, procedures, and standards for the organization.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents and provide timely incident response and resolution.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in information security and make recommendations for improvement.
- Manage and mentor a team of information security professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure the effective execution of security initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance security capabilities and stay ahead of potential threats.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of information security within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to information security.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of security controls and make recommendations for enhancements or improvements.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Information Security: A Leader In This Role Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Information Security Principles, Concepts, And Best Practices. They Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Workforce Identity And Access Management Programs.
Strong Technical Background: In Addition To Information Security Expertise, A Leader In This Role Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Areas Such As Network Security, Cloud Security, And Data Encryption. They Should Also Have Experience With Industry-Standard Tools And Technologies Related To Identity And Access Management.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Leader, This Individual Must Be Able To Think Strategically And Develop Long-Term Plans For Workforce Identity And Access Management. They Should Also Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Address Complex Security Challenges And Make Critical Decisions To Protect Company Data And Assets.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage And Lead A Team Of Security Professionals. The Leader Should Be Able To Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Build Strong Relationships With Cross-Functional Teams.
Relevant Certifications: A Leader In This Role Should Hold Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp), Certified Information Security Manager (Cism), Or Certified Information Systems Auditor (Cisa). These Certifications Demonstrate A Candidate's Knowledge And Expertise In Information Security And Are Highly Valued By Employers.
