Leader, Information Security

We’re looking for an experienced leader to join our team as the Information Security Leader at Western Union. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the company’s security strategy, while ensuring compliance and protecting the organization’s systems and data.To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of security frameworks and regulations, and demonstrate subject matter expertise in security technologies and processes. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement the company’s security strategy and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
2. Manage security operations, including monitoring systems and responding to security incidents.
3. Research and evaluate new security technologies and processes to ensure the company’s security posture is up-to-date.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and collaborate with various teams to ensure secure operations.
5. Create and maintain documentation related to security operations and procedures.
6. Provide security training and awareness to all stakeholders.
7. Stay abreast of industry security trends and best practices.
8. Monitor security metrics and report findings to the Chief Information Security Officer.
