- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of global regulatory requirements and changes, and ensure that Western Union is in compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Lead and manage the compliance team, setting goals and expectations, providing guidance and direction, and promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into business processes and systems.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and changes, and communicate updates and potential impacts to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees to promote awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Conduct compliance audits and investigations as needed, and work with internal and external stakeholders to address any identified issues.
- Communicate with regulators and external auditors as necessary, and represent the company during regulatory exams and audits.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvements and develop and implement strategies to enhance compliance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in regulatory compliance, and share knowledge and insights with the team and stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on global regulatory compliance matters, providing guidance and support to the organization as needed.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting key areas of concern and recommended actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation and records.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the compliance team and cross-functionally.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the company's compliance program to ensure it remains effective and up-to-date with changing regulations.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Global Regulatory Compliance: A Lead Analyst In Global Regulatory Compliance At Western Union Should Possess Thorough Understanding Of Laws, Regulations, And Standards Pertaining To Financial Services, Money Transfer, And Anti-Money Laundering. They Should Have The Ability To Interpret And Apply These Regulations In Various Countries And Regions.
