FIU Investigator

In this role, you will be a member of Western Union’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) located within the Global Compliance organization. The FIU assists to mitigate money laundering and terrorist financing risks to Western Union. This highly visible area is responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating money laundering risk related activity. Specifically, you will be responsible for the investigation of complex and unusual money transfer transactions and patterns that may be indicative of money laundering or terrorist financing concerns. This role is responsible for providing accurate analysis and documentation of suspicious activity, as well as the detection of suspicious trends and activity. You may interact with various stakeholders within the organization to gather critical information for decision making, as well as may assist with training and support for new team members.
