  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for Western Union, in alignment with industry best practices and legal requirements.
  2. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity laws, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure compliance within the organization.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential cybersecurity risks and develop mitigation plans.
  4. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls and technologies to protect Western Union's critical data and systems.
  5. Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support in their development.
  6. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
  7. Act as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity-related legal matters, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of cybersecurity solutions.
  9. Communicate cybersecurity updates, risks, and incidents to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's cybersecurity posture through regular testing, training, and incident response drills.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity is integrated into all business processes and initiatives.
  12. Monitor and report on key performance indicators and metrics related to cybersecurity to assess the effectiveness of the program.
  13. Represent Western Union in industry events and forums to stay informed of the latest cybersecurity developments and share best practices.
  14. Proactively identify and address potential cybersecurity gaps, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
  15. Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and responsibility within the organization by promoting training and education initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In Cybersecurity, Preferably In A Global Organization.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Laws, Regulations, And Industry Best Practices.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Liaise With Various Stakeholders And Departmental Leaders.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Effective Risk Management Strategies And Incident Response Plans.
