Test Process Engineer

The Western Digital Media Test Engineering team in San Jose, CA is seeking a Test Process Engineer who is highly motivated to work in a challenging and dynamic engineering environment. The media test team is responsible for the development and implementation of hardware/software/process/automation solutions in R&D environment. Develop specific test processes based on product requirements, monitor test results and optimize test processes as needed. Also, bridge the gap between test hardware & software teams to qualify, debug & deploy new features. Propose new test features as needed. Transfer new testing processes to Asia manufacturing sites and work closely with engineering teams to identify & troubleshoot issues related to test processes. Write technical reports, test specifications, procedures & conduct necessary applications training. Work with end users and cross functional teams to develop and maintain data analysis tools using dashboards for various manufacturing and pilot line systems.
