Welcome to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's Primary Care Internal Medicine team. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing practice.   1. Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of the internal medicine practice.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with patients, providing compassionate and personalized care.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in internal medicine.
  4. Work collaboratively with other members of the primary care team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
  5. Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, both acute and chronic.
  6. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
  7. Prescribe and monitor medications, making appropriate adjustments as necessary.
  8. Educate and counsel patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and management of chronic conditions.
  9. Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of the internal medicine practice.
  12. Maintain appropriate licensure and certifications, and fulfill all continuing education requirements.
  13. Serve as a positive and professional representative of the hospital and the internal medicine practice to patients, colleagues, and the community.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction and actively seek feedback to continuously improve the patient experience.
  15. Collaborate with other healthcare providers and specialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients with complex medical needs.
  16. Adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in all aspects of patient care.
  17. Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other activities to enhance communication and collaboration within the practice.
  18. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in patient care and interactions with colleagues.
  19. Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  20. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Internal Medicine: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Internal Medicine By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or Equivalent.

  • Extensive Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Primary Care Internal Medicine Is Required For This Position.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Colleagues Is Essential For Providing High-Quality Care And Building Strong Relationships.
