Enrolled In A Recognized Optometry Or Ophthalmology Program: The Ideal Candidate For This Student Coop Position Should Be Currently Enrolled In An Optometry Or Ophthalmology Program To Possess A Strong Foundation Of Knowledge And Skills In The Field Of Eye Care.
Knowledge Of Glaucoma And Related Treatments: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Glaucoma And Its Various Treatment Options To Assist In Providing Quality Care To Patients With This Condition.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Student Coop At Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Doctors, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effective Collaboration And Patient Care.
