  1. Transport sterile instruments throughout the hospital in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Ensure the safe handling and transport of all sterile instruments.
  3. Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety for our patients.
  4. Follow proper procedures for handling and transporting sterile instruments.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of sterile instruments.
  6. Maintain accurate records of instrument transport and log any issues or concerns.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate instrument transport for surgeries and procedures.
  8. Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  10. Follow all hospital protocols and safety procedures.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to all staff and patients.
  12. Attend trainings and workshops to stay current on best practices and procedures.
  13. Report any damaged or malfunctioning instruments to appropriate personnel.
  14. Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Sterile Processing Or Related Field, With A Strong Understanding Of Instrument Handling And Sterilization Procedures.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Familiarity With Surgical Instruments And Equipment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Liaise Between Sterile Processing Department And Other Hospital Departments.

  • Basic Computer Skills And Proficiency In Using Electronic Inventory Management Systems.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
