- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnose vision problems for patients of all ages.
- Develop treatment plans and prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or other appropriate treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and primary care physicians, to provide coordinated patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in the field of optometry.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and maintenance of corrective lenses.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including exam findings and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Ensure a high standard of patient care and satisfaction by delivering compassionate and personalized services.
- Work closely with the administrative team to manage scheduling and maintain efficient patient flow.
- Attend departmental meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote services and attract new patients.
- Continuously strive to enhance the patient experience and contribute to the overall success of the hospital.
Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills.
Doctor Of Optometry (Od) Degree From An Accredited Optometry School.
State Licensure As An Optometrist.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In Optometry.
Strong Knowledge Of Ocular Diseases, Treatments, And Technologies.
