Security Officer - Nights

1. Monitor and patrol the premises of the hospital to identify and respond to any potential security threats or breaches.
2. Enforce hospital policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.
3. Conduct regular inspections of the hospital's security systems and equipment to ensure they are properly functioning.
4. Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed, including coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents and actions taken.
6. Communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors to provide guidance, support, and assistance when needed.
7. Collaborate with other security team members to develop and implement safety and security protocols and procedures.
8. Stay up-to-date on current security best practices and make recommendations for improvements to hospital security measures.
9. Monitor and control access to restricted areas of the hospital, ensuring only authorized personnel have entry.
10. Assist with training and educating hospital staff on security protocols and procedures.
11. Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and take appropriate action to de-escalate conflicts or threats.
12. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the hospital in a positive and respectful manner.
13. Adhere to all hospital policies, as well as state and federal laws, pertaining to security and safety.
14. Report any suspicious or concerning behavior to the appropriate authorities.
15. Conduct investigations into security incidents and provide written reports to hospital administration.
